Christopher J. Mehall, MD


Dr. Christopher Mehall is a fellowship-trained and board-certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist who has been practicing in medicine for over 35 years and has been in the UP for over 25 years. Beyond residency and dual fellowship training with certification by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Mehall is also the only U.P. physician certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.

In his free time, Dr. Mehall enjoys running (he has run numerous full and half marathons), as well as boating and fishing, and enjoying time with his wife and two adult sons.

Kathy Burns, LPN


Kathy Burns, is a Licensed Practitioner Nurse (LPN) who has been with The Vein Clinic since 2006. Prior to joining the TVC staff, she worked at various other Physician offices in the Marquette area. She is the primary nurse who will greet patients from their first office visit, including conservative treatment follow ups along with assist Dr. Mehall in all procedures and follow up visits. She has obtained advanced training in Sclerotherapy and performs all of our Sclerotherapy for spider/cosmetic veins.

In her free time, Kathy enjoys spending time with good friends biking, walking and hiking. She also spends as much time as she can with her 2 adult children and 2 grandsons.

Sara Garceau


Sara Garceau is a certified Medical Office Assistant who has been with The Vein Clinic since 2008. Prior to joining the TVC staff, she worked at various other Physician offices in the Marquette area. She is our lead Patient Coordinator who manages all of the prior authorizations for our patients as well as works closely with scheduling procedures and clinics.

In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband. Terry in the outdoors hiking, biking and golfing. She also participates regularly in yoga. She too, enjoys spending time with her two adult daughters and their growing families as she enjoys her time with her 3 grandsons.
